Skate Leicester Square

Skate Leicester Square, run by Underbelly, is a circular rink in the middle of the square with a bar and Christmas market stalls around it. It is open every day from Saturday 31 October 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027, except Christmas Day.

Opening hours, from the rink’s own FAQs:

  • 31 October to 26 November: Monday to Friday noon to 10pm, first session 12.15pm. Saturday and Sunday 10am to 10pm, first session 10.15am. Last session 9.15pm.
  • 27 November to 3 January: daily 10am to 10pm, first session 10.15am, with shorter hours on some holiday dates.
  • 26 December and 1 January: noon to 10pm, first session 12.15pm.

Prices vary between off-peak and peak days, Underbelly says, but it has not put figures on its site yet. You can buy on the day at the box office, card only, though it advises booking ahead. Children under 3 are not allowed on the ice. The homepage says under-12s need a responsible adult; the FAQ page says children 12 and under must be with someone over 16. There is no cloakroom. The nearest Tube is Leicester Square, a minute’s walk.

The market around the rink is covered on our Leicester Square Christmas market page.
