We checked 18 Westminster shops, from Daunt Books in Marylebone to Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly, for opening hours, addresses and Christmas closures. Updated November 2026.
Westminster has 18 shops worth a Christmas shopping trip in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with opening hours, addresses and what each one sells. Fortnum & Mason, Liberty, Hatchards and Daunt Books are the names most people land on. Every entry was checked against the shop’s own site on 5 November 2026, and we say where we could not.
We have not shopped at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the shop says it sells. Most hours below are the shop’s regular hours, so check before a special trip in December.

How we chose
We picked the shops people search for, using longevity, public listings, what the shop says on its own site and how useful it is for Christmas. We preferred independents, and included department stores only where they are what people come to the West End for. We read each shop’s own site on 5 November 2026. Hamleys’ site would not load for us, so it is not an entry. The Conran Shop’s store list no longer shows a Marylebone shop, so it is left out. We have not visited these shops for this guide.
